- Use extra support for pregnancy, blood pressure changes, or pain. Comfort and ease are the priority over depth.
- Entering Restorative Corpse Pose
- Lie flat on your back. Place a bolster under the knees and support under the head if needed. Let the arms rest away from the body with the palms turned up. Take a steady inhale to create length, then use the exhale to settle into the final shape.
- Exiting Restorative Corpse Pose
- Deepen the breath and begin small movements in the fingers and toes. Roll to one side and rise slowly when ready. Pause in a neutral position for a moment before continuing.
