Cautions
Avoid forcing depth. Back out if you feel sharp, pinching, or electric sensations, especially around knees and low back.
Entering Reclined Deer Pose
Lie on one side with the knees bent. Stack the top leg in front of the bottom leg with support between or under the knees as needed. Rest the arms where the shoulders feel comfortable. Take a steady inhale to create length, then use the exhale to settle into the final shape.
Exiting Reclined Deer Pose
Roll gently onto the back. Pause in neutral before moving to the second side. Pause in a neutral position for a moment before continuing.
