Open the legs wide and fold forward between them.

- Encourages fascial release, joint mobility, and a calm parasympathetic response. Particularly helpful for making space for calm.

- Bolster, blanket, or blocks optional.
- Hold Time
- 3 to 5 minutes
- Cautions and Contraindications
- Avoid forcing depth. Back out if you feel sharp, pinching, or electric sensations, especially around knees and low back.
- Entering Straddle Pose
- Sit with the legs spread wide apart. Point the kneecaps and toes up. Walk the hands forward and fold between the legs. Take a steady inhale to create length, then use the exhale to settle into the final shape.
- Exiting Straddle Pose
- Walk the hands back and lift upright. Bring the legs in slowly from the wide shape. Pause in a neutral position for a moment before continuing.
