- Cautions and Contraindications
- Avoid forcing depth. Back out if you feel sharp, pinching, or electric sensations, especially around knees and low back.
- Entering Happy Baby Pose
- Lie on your back and draw the knees toward the chest. Bend the knees deeply and reach for the outer feet, ankles, or shins. Guide the knees toward the sides of the rib cage while keeping the low back grounded. Take a steady inhale to create length, then use the exhale to settle into the final shape.
- Exiting Happy Baby Pose
- Release the feet or legs. Bring the knees together and place the feet back on the floor. Pause in a neutral position for a moment before continuing.
